False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are available at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-yr duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites
These classes start out at NCV level 2 along with the minimum prerequisite would read more then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Mathematics.
At the time the student finishes NCVLevel two, they might then have attained a grade 10 certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.
NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, becoming equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).
Grade 9 is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage two which is equivalent to an NQF level two.
On which type of scholars are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that conventional education will not be necessarily the only real means of turning out to be an artisan or becoming skilled therefore if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is in fact properly suited for that student.
False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
